Welcome to Carolina Ships in Bottles. Please take your time and browse through my selection of individually handcrafted pieces.

In the Fall of 2007, Jim was contracted by Dreamworks Pictures to provide ships in bottles, ship models and set props for the film adaptation of Alice Sebold's novel, The Lovely Bones. Jim created about 50 ships in bottles used by the actors as well as some special requests from director Peter Jackson. For more information about the film, see: [Wikipedia] - The Lovely Bones

For all you Blackbeard fans out there, please have a look at my 1"= 5' scale sloop of "Blackbeard's ADVENTURE that was exhibited as a part of Bath, North Carolina's Tri-Centennial in 2005 and is on display at the new Teach's Hole Museum on Ocracoke Island.

If you would like to purchase a particular piece, or if you would like to place a special order, please let me know.
